Intestinal obstructions

Intestinal Obstruction also referred to as Paralytic ileus, Pseudo-obstruction or just Obstruction is the obstruction caused to normal food or fluid flow in the gastrointestinal tract due to narrowing or blockage of anastoma.

Contractions that propel food through intestine does not work properly in people with intestinal obstruction. As a result, metabolic disorders like cramps, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, bloating, and constipation are common.
