Type 2 Diabetes

A metabolic disorder characterised by higher than normal sugar levels due to insulin resistance or insulin deficiency.  It is also the most common type of diabetes accounting for 90 to 95% of diabetes cases. If you are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes then it means your body isn’t producing enough insulin, with pancreas struggling to make up for the difference in insulin levels. It is also known as Diabetes mellitus type 2 , noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus or adult-onset diabetes.
